This Classi PEQ OPA Gainstage is an quality audio gainstage for the Classi PEQ project. It is based on NE5532 OP-Amps which are favored for professional studio applications and have a great headroom and low noise floor and outstanding natural sound. It replaces a tube SRPP Stage to build up a tubeless audio circuit. The Classi Filter PCB is a brandnew enhanced quality Filter version to build up a classic passive tube or FET powered equalizer. It supports sweet sounding RM or EF inductors and it has a row to use original EQP-1A inductors as-well. This filter PCB works well together with the Classi PEQ OPA based Gainstage or a G-Pultec tube based power supply as well. It supports all EQP-1A Frequencies and the Frequencies of the G-PEQ as-well. The design supports the finest cap selection of Styroflex and WIMA-MKS4 caps for the filter signal path. This PCB will take your project to the next level. Don-Audio Classi PEQ Filter With Inductor RM8 - PEQ. True Vintage-Blue Finished the build of the Don-Audio Classi PEQ. Very fun DIY project for building with amazing results,the PEQ sound very musical and the RM8 Custom Don-audio Inductor i chose sounds exactly like described very natural, transparent sound more to add i installed the Don-Audio IRON - Transformer Output Module with Lundahl LL5402 that really emphasis the RM8 Inductor, with anther description by Don-Audio to be audiophile Inductor that sounds very clean and naturally Very recommended and must be heard...... Great sound, easy to assemble Ive just finished building a stereo Classi PEQ using Aarons full kit and must say Im impressed not only with PCB quality but also labelling components and attention to detail. Its almost impossible to solder it wrong! Ive chosen RM8 inductors as I wanted not to be too much colored sounding and Im very happy with them: boosting highs never sounded so sweet, not harsh like plugins and poorly designed EQs but detailed and elegant. Of course Classi PEQ allows me to do the PEQ trick boosting and cutting lows sounding fat, dense and warm. Thanks Aaron for putting out such great product!

Passive EQ für alle noch nie war es so einfach sich einen 50´s style EQ zu bauen.. (Gut dokumentiert und 2 versch. custom Inductor Optionen) und das Beste: freie Wahl der Aufholverstärkung Wenn jmd löten kann und ein minimalwissen und Interesse für Technik hat, aber immer noch das Plug In benutzt, ist selber schuld!!!

Tolle Grundlage für genau dieses Projekt Die Platine ist super gemacht und macht den Bau eines Pultecs richtig einfach! Allerdings empfehle ich den Kauf des kompletten Kits - sonst gibt es doch einen großen und nervigen verkabelungsaufwand. Mit den vorkonfektionierten Kabeln kein Problem! Wer Kondensatoren mit größeren Maßen als gedacht verbauen will wird auf der Platine nicht genug Platz finden. Da wird sich dann eher peer to peer anbieten. Aber wie gesagt - für das Projekt wie es gedacht ist top!
